Skateboarding parties

We had a birthday party at School of Skate for our 7 year old at Peckham Rye. They had a blast. To quote one of the kids “Best Party Ever!”

Skateboarding Birthday Party at Copeland Park HQ

Why have a skateboarding party?

A skateboarding party is great for celebrating:

Birthday party

Stag or Hen Party

Corporate event with Team Building

What will you learn at your Skateboarding Birthday Party?

During your skateboarding party you will usually focus on the Beginner Skateboarding Skills.

If there are more advanced riders they can help the others and/or we will be able to give them level-appropriate tuition alongside the other participants. This is bread and butter stuff for us.

Who can come to your Skateboarding Party?

  • Anyone. Any ages/abilities welcome.

We are accustomed to running groups with different ability levels. We’ve had parents and aunties joining the fun at some of our birthday parties.

Where can you have your Skateboard Party?

You can have your skateboarding party at:

  • At our group location skateparks (travel surcharge applies to other parks)
  • Our new indoor HQ in Peckham.
  • Your venue – we can bring ramps etc

At the skatepark we usually suggest a party earlier on in the day when the skatepark isn’t too busy. After our group lessons is preferred.

My 6-year-old boy loves attending the skateboard club at Copeland Park in Peckham! The coaches are fantastic — super patient, encouraging, and passionate about teaching. It’s been amazing to see his confidence grow with every session. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the kids always have a great time while learning new tricks and improving their skills.A special shoutout to Stewart, whose communication and support have been outstanding. He’s always quick to respond to my emails and is incredibly helpful with any questions I have. It’s clear he genuinely cares about the kids and their experience at the club.Copeland Park is a great spot for the club, with good space and a fun community vibe. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for an active and enjoyable activity for their child!

All the tutors are really great with the kids, their patience and their gentle style of teaching is perfect. Lessons are safe, inspiring and they adapt really well to each child's needs. Couldn't recommend enough.

The group lessons at Peckham HQ are amazing, the class sizes are small, the teachers are all very kind, patient and knowledgable. Our 5 yr old has been attending for a couple of months and is learning so quickly. We always recommend School of Skate to everyone we know!

What happens after we’ve booked our party?

We’ll be in touch to confirm a few extra details:

  1. A consent form will need to be completed by participants
  2. We’ll send an event invite
  3. Participants can create a learning account

If students can complete the stance tasks in their learning account we’ll be able to hit the ground rolling on the day!

Meet at the skatepark at the time arranged.

Have fun!

What about bad weather during my skateboarding party?

Rain forecast during the party

Unfortunately if there’s a high likelihood of rain during the lesson we will have to postpone. We’ll try and let you know as soon as we can by using our well developed weather radar reading skills, but usually at least two hours beforehand.

Rain before the party

If the skatepark is wet we can run a wet weather programme. We have a wet weather programme which includes fun activities that are safe to undertake during on a wet surface.

What if I want more than 10 to come my party?

The standard Skateboarding Party Package includes 10 students. We can cater for more with an additional coach for extra charge of £25 per hour, plus £15 per extra student.

For example, for 15 students:

First 10 students £150
5 more students £15 x 5 = £75
Extra coach £25
Total £250
